I use these fairy lights on my patio. Ordered green. It's a very light green and nice and bright. I see a lot of people here complaining about how bright they are, especially when using them indoors for soft living room lighting. Don't buy them if that's what you're looking for. buy lightbulbs. Not these LEDs. LEDs are always much brighter than incandescent bulbs. If you've already bought them and they're too bright, go to Home Depot and buy a built-in dimmer (about $10). Connect the light to a dimmer and the dimmer to an outlet. There is a slide switch. Just adjust it to the desired brightness. I use these dimmers on all my fairy lights to adjust the atmosphere as needed. These lights are well made. I connected three ropes together and all the lights work great. I don't understand why so many people have so many problems with it. I have sets that stay out year round in all Chicago weather and some are at least 3 years old and still going strong. I'm happy with it and will buy more if needed. Aside from that, as far as fairy lights go, they're really overpriced. I wish they were around $15 a set.
