My son broke the screen on his iPad so I unplugged it. Due to severe glass damage, I damaged the LCD and ordered one. We're back in business and like new. Very easy to install, the glass is the hardest part. Just watch a YouTube video and it won't take more than 30 minutes. I'm all about making things myself, not paying someone to do something I can make myself.

I replaced my daughter's cracked screen and didn't realize how fragile the LCD screen was. I made a small scratch on the LCD when trying to remove the screen. What I thought might have broken the LCD. I have to press hard on the corner without realizing it. Anyway, I ordered this LCD and it worked perfectly! I hooked it up and covered it with a new screen I got from a Fixcracked seller on Revain. And it was great. All of my daughter's apps were still installed and ready to play.

Nice LCD! Prying out the digitizer (to access the LCD) is not easy. And there are many techniques for that. If you commit to this project, also get a digitizer (for backup purposes). Oh, your model number is engraved on the back of the iPad.

This LCD screen suits me perfectly. I had an unusual case where my son broke the LCD screen but not the glass and digitizer so it was perfect. Because I was in a hurry to replace it, I bought it from Revain with one day shipping, but it's about $30 cheaper on eBay for the same thing. So I wish it was a little cheaper here.
