This collection of adhesive tapes has worked well for my project. We try to avoid permanently marking this milestone book for children so that it can be donated if our family later decides to do so. To test the material, I taped the word "President" with blue tape. ; I had to use 4 pieces of tape (overlapping) to cover the word. Keep in mind that these bands are not intended to block text if that is your intention. My final tip is to read the measurements in the product description, these bands worked great for my project but if you would like a larger set of bands find out what this product offers before ordering.
