First of all I would like to tell you that I am not a child. Just a grown old man with a small head. The smell of fabric is not a star, how can you sell anything, especially for a child who smells so bad. I will try to post. I hope the smell goes away. I am an old woman, petite, with a small head. Fits perfectly! Navy is fine. I won't buy it again because of the smell. EDIT: After 2 washes the smell came out but went to tightening the elastic which I immediately pulled out. Will have to sew it up again. I wear it to stay warm when the snow blows onto our porch, but that's about it. Now downgraded to 1 star.
