Review on FeiyuTech G6 Max: Ultimate 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer (G6 Plus Upgrade) for Mirrorless Cameras, GoPro, and iPhones – High Payload and Splash Proof by Aaron Richardson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works great, but not at maximum payload.

Bought primarily for use with Fujifilm XT4. I knew I had to choose my lens carefully to stay within 1200g, but I was fine with the 23mm F2. Balanced and everything seemed to work fine. There was a problem with the design when balancing, because at the extreme limits of the scale, the mount scratched and scratched hands. A little less than max was ok. One thing that doesn't work with this payload is intro and portrait modes. Both modes start well but quickly stall as the motor isn't powerful enough to fully rotate the camera. Launch mode technically works upside down, but not horizontally. It also means you can't perform maneuvers that support the full weight of the camera, such as B. Pan sideways while looking at the ground. Not everyone needs these features, but if a maximum payload is specified, it should be the maximum payload for everyone. Particularities.

Pros
  • Stabilizers
Cons
  • So-so
