Works great, but not at maximum payload.

Bought primarily for use with Fujifilm XT4. I knew I had to choose my lens carefully to stay within 1200g, but I was fine with the 23mm F2. Balanced and everything seemed to work fine. There was a problem with the design when balancing, because at the extreme limits of the scale, the mount scratched and scratched hands. A little less than max was ok. One thing that doesn't work with this payload is intro and portrait modes. Both modes start well but quickly stall as the motor isn't powerful…

Great for mirrorless cameras, works well with some smartphone sizes

I used this with an A6000 with a 16-50mm lens. So far it works fine with some caveats.1. You need to connect via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. To do this, you need to launch the phone sync app in the camera. This allows the G6Max to connect and control camera functions.2. I noticed that the video capture button doesn't work on the G6 Max. You need to press the video capture button on the camera. I hope they find a way to do this, but I think it's a technical limitation of the camera.3. Feiyu ON App…

Works well for my smartphone and mirrorless camera a6500

Gimbal has evolved so much over the years. I remember when the first mirrorless camera tripods were bulky, heavy and didn't have long battery life. This is a revolution in the suspension market. It is so compact compared to even two year old devices. I use my Sony A6500 with no problems. Support for a heavier payload means I can put on a fixed focal length lens without worrying about it tipping over. I mean "same" because balance is still important. I can't use a telephoto lens with a heavy…

Finally found it.

I tried two other stabilizers before buying this one. Each was more expensive than this one. Both of these lacked features, weren't balanced properly, or broke within hours of purchase. The G6 Max (finally) matches it. Of course I'd prefer to go with one of the cheaper ones. Designed specifically for use with action cameras, they were smaller than the G6 Max, although not by much. With the G6 Max, I have a gimbal that can balance the GoPro, which I will be using most, as well as my mirrorless…

It pays to find the balance! Update your rating!

I looked at many reviews before finally deciding on this stabilizer. A lot of reviews talked about how this stabilizer could handle so much weight and how easy it is to use. I'd have to agree with that after it's balanced. Balancing hurts! The instructions that came with the gimbal weren't very helpful, but I found a YouTube video by Feiyutech that helped a bit. After balancing, I turned it on but it kept vibrating. I couldn't find a solution here, neither in the instructions nor in the videos.

  • Half A4 paper size and improved compatibility
