Review on πŸš— Seat Covers Unlimited – Long Lasting and Durable One Piece Black Universal Car Seat Cover for Truck and Car Bench Seats, Offering Reliable Protection by Jermaine Batista

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That's what I was looking for.

I had the exact same thing in my 1972 C/ 10 years ago. I made the mistake of putting it in the washing machine, it turned into a giant bird's nest. I won't make that mistake again. I went ahead and pulled the seat out of my truck so I had full access to the back and under the seat. I think the seat cover could be installed while the seat is still in the car, but I didn't want to be crawling across the floor of my truck with a work light next to me. It still took me a while to assemble the seat cover using the seat from the car. As far as I know, the key to the durability of a seat cover is that the tighter you can pull the cover, the better. A loose lid can result in it snagging on anything it snags on: keys, clothing rivets/buttons, pocket knife or, if you're like me, a screwdriver you forgot in your back pocket to have. I haven't torn it yet and it looks like it will take a lot of effort to tear it apart. I'm happy with it so far and expect years of wear and tear like the last one I had. PS: This is a one-piece seat cover, same as the description. I bought what I thought was a one-piece seat cover very similar to this one at a local auto parts store. Only to find out it was a two piece construction. After struggling with this case for about an hour, I realized that no matter how hard I pulled on the fabric, it would not fit. I sent it back and bought this one instead. (I didn't damage the other one I returned.) It was actually designed for a small back seat, I found out later.
