I was looking for a case for my new 2018 MBP to protect it when traveling. I wanted it to have the following features: 1) Padded top loading case 2) Front pocket big enough to carry keys and charger in a reasonably organized way 3) Front pocket big enough to maybe fit my iPad 4) Pen 5 ) Still small enough to fit in my backpack's laptop sleeve when both the MPB and iPad are in my sleeve. What I like: 1) The sleeve sizing is perfect for the 2018 MBP. I love the padded hem they put around the zipper opening to protect the MBP from damage. 2) It's soft enough 3) There are two inner pockets in the front pocket, which can easily hold my keys and charger. 4) When I pack the charging pad in my backpack with my other chargers, the iPad fits perfectly in the front sleeve pocket while the keys are still in their individual inner pockets. This protects both my MBP and iPad when in my backpack's laptop sleeve and allows me to get to both quickly as both sleeves are top loading. From C to FireWire cable. 6) Outer material feels strong yet soft. 7) The padding in the sleeve is very nice. 8) It fits perfectly in my backpack's laptop sleeve when both MBP and iPad are in my sleeve. What to change or add: The only thing I would like is the possibility of a shoulder strap. There is a practical carrying handle on the sleeve. I only have a few use cases where I don't want to take my backpack with me and it would be nice to use a shoulder strap, but it's not a deal breaker. I knew it wasn't when I bought it. This case checked all of my must have boxes. A shoulder strap would have been just a nice addition. I am very happy with the case and would buy it again if lost or damaged.
