These curlers are perfect for my hair and the goal is to get voluminous straight hair, not frizzy but puffy and straight. I love it. They stay in place without pins, but I use pins so they don't move at all. The velcro closure keeps hair in place and is ideal for super straight curls. They are easy to remove and do not damage the hair. This is a large size for long hair only. I have wavy and lots of hair and to tame it requires a 3 step blow dry (or blow dry naturally if I can wait), a big hot flat iron to style and finally a curler for puffiness and volume which I love to get. A bit pricey as I needed at least 6 of these. Highly recommended.
