Review on ๐Ÿฑ Convenient Top Load Pet Carrier: Ideal for Large and Medium Cats, Small Dogs - Easy Ingress, Secure Storage, and Hassle-Free Cleaning by Margaret Thornhill

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Withstands a 5 day car ride with cats.

I bought two medium and two large sizes to take four cats on a five day cross country trip. I have switched from hard plastic carriers to these for both cat comfort and safety as they can be secured directly in the car with a seat belt. I am very satisfied with both media sizes. The top and front doors made it relatively easy for cats to get in and out. The pillow was comfortable for her. We had two incidents of urination and the pads were easy to open and wash in hotel sinks and were dry enough in the morning to put back in their totes. The pillow was absorbent enough not to hold anything on the car seat (and gosh, I appreciate that!). The cats scratched a bit but I think the carrier has held up amazingly well for five days and will last a long time. Photo after the trip. In terms of size, my largest cat is just over 16 pounds (pictured) and although she couldn't stand up in her carrier, she was able to turn around in circles with ease and they still lay down most of the way. However, I would never pack two of my little cats in a transport box, there would be no room for that if they weren't kittens. We used both the carry handles and shoulder straps during the ride and both seemed solid. After the trip, the pillowcases were washed in the car, the remaining holders wiped clean and everything simply folded for storage, with four holders taking up less space than one hard plastic holder. I am very glad I bought them and my fluffy babies safely reached their destination.
