Great replacement for the hard tote bags we previously had. Some thoughts: Much lighter than plastic and easy to open/close at different angles for inserting the cat. The shoulder strap is a little uncomfortable, but running around town without a car is a lot easier than without it. it doesn't seem to bother). I bought two medium and two large sizes to take four cats on a five day cross country trip. I have switched from hard plastic carriers to these for both cat comfort and safety as they can be secured directly in the car with a seat belt. I am very satisfied with both media sizes.
