License Plate Light Covers (Set) are made of hard plastic. If you try to insert the cover into the hole where the bulb is, part of the tab will break no matter how carefully you try to insert it. I tried the first one myself and when it broke (pressed on it hard and the tab broke) I took the second mechanic thinking he or she would be better at it and the tab broke the second cap off when he tried use them carefully. The previous lamp cover I had is made from a softer plastic with a combination of rubbery material that allows for some flexibility in the tabs, allowing the cover to slide in comfortably, but this new cover with no flexibility has any hope of going into any opening without the tab coming loose. I just lost almost $18.00 from this experience. They came and were made in China.
