I bought a tank blade when it first came out with a yellow handle, it was much sharper, even my original yellow handle with the original blade is sharper than these replacement parts, the quality the blade has worn off, I couldn't even cut slightly damp hair. Very disappointing quality, not sharp at all, I have a hard time cutting my back hair unless it is completely dry, it won't cut everything if the hair is a little wet. The blades are not sharp compared to the first generation, the quality has dropped significantly. I recommend leaving the Bakblade all together and getting another unit that allows you to use cheap disposable razors that I'll probably buy next time instead of refilling.
