Not suitable for K1600

Do not buy this product. Changed the oil for the first time in my life and left the old oil filter in. After installing the K&N filter I decided to reattach the selector only to find that the nut welded to the outside of the filter was blocking the selector. So if you like shifting out of first gear while driving, don't buy this filter. .
