The great thing about this product is that it is protected.
The advantage of this product is that it is protected by a plastic coating. I can hang a tie with a case on a hanger. If my husband touches a light pink tie (he always wears chunky ones) we're safe. . . .before our daughter's wedding. The color was amazing, a real blush.
