A great creative project idea for bored summer kids. Children's imagination is the limit of great creations. Boys and girls can come up with many great ideas of what they would like to do. Ideal for thinking outside the box, problem solving and teaching how to measure and execute plans. My grandson has built several buildings for his railway village and was so thrilled with the result that he can't wait to build more. I recommend getting some inexpensive pliers from the Dollar Store to cut the sticks to different lengths for more complex projects (of course, working with pliers may require adult supervision). For children, Aleene's "Quick Dry" pressure-sensitive adhesive is a good alternative to the more dangerous hot glue gun. Tacky Glue is non-toxic and washable with water.
