If you do housework like me, watch out for the old part when it comes out. Hot and cold side swapped at the same time. I'm not a plumber, so I watch for things as they fall apart. The seal at the bottom on one side came loose from the seat and remained in the faucet. I had to catch with a homemade hook. after that everything went smoothly again. At the top of these pieces is a piece that can be removed and flipped over to control how the faucet handles can be oriented. IMPORTANT: Be careful how the old piece is set up on top or your faucet handles will not align properly!
