Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 10p 215/55 R16 97T winter by Mateusz Strach ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The purchase was not entirely successful, there were minor problems in use.

The main cry of the soul is an appeal to the manufacturer about a marriage on two wheels (you must agree that the marriage rate of 50% is essential for a well-known company with a product for that kind of money). After contacting me on Instagram, I was offered to write to a special e-mail. Ok, I think the manufacturer should be aware of the defects in order to improve the quality. In response, I was offered to fill out a form with more than 50 fields to fill in, including fields where you need to insert detailed photos with honey highlighting the side parts so that you can see what kind of rubber (all parameters). Okay, I think I'll fill in all these fields while they change tires at the tire shop. I filled everything in, took about a dozen photographs (sidewalls, tread, inside, outside, photos of defects, etc.) In the “company requirement” field, I entered something like “pay attention to quality and I will be grateful for a nice bonus, because I already put tires on the wheels. After that, I was offered to clarify the "nice bonus" that I asked the manufacturer. I indicated "monetary compensation" and resubmitted the questionnaire. After that, I was informed that they would not be able to consider my application form and that I had to fill everything out again, highlighting the sidewall of the rubber with chalk so that the model was visible (although everything was visible in the photo anyway) and the defect with spikes was more than obvious. In general, spitting on this matter and realizing that the manufacturer does not really care about the fate of the sold goods, I ended the correspondence and made the appropriate conclusions for myself. I probably won't buy it again. In general, the tires are good. Before that, I skated on Hakka 7 - I was very pleased and even thought to take the same little BU. Then he began to look towards the new eights and nines from the same manufacturer. In the process of reading reviews and viewing tests, I concluded that among the top studs there are more interesting options (but the price there is somewhat higher). Having bought into an advertisement for studs with two types of “studs”, I decided to try the new 10r, especially since for the 2022 market they have more studs and their protrusion is higher.

Pros
  • 1. Very quiet. 2. Good rut stability. 3. Good acceleration properties on light snow and on dry pavement
Cons
  • The first and main drawback is the quality of rubber production. On two of the four wheels there was an obvious marriage (maybe not so significant, but clearly talking about the level of quality control in production). On one wheel, the stud was inserted with the reverse side (see photo) On the other wheel, the stud was clearly worn off (a crookedly cast stud core). (See photo) Well, technical support also works so-so (it is hardly necessary to count on a replacement). In addition, in my opinion, rubber has poor lateral stability, both on wet pavement and on snow. I liked the previous models 7,8,9 more. (7 was with me, 8 with my wife, 9 with my mother-in-law. Machines are about the same power and weight).
