I may be late to the game as I never heard of dryer balls until a month ago. After receiving enlightenment from a few people, I decided to get some and I'm glad I did. Pack of 6 balls. The first time I used them with a large leaf load and put all 6 marbles inside. Typically, the dryer sheet will curl up and get stuck in the sheet, leaving the load still damp and curled. Dryer balls prevented this. My clothes come out dry, free of static (which is the best quality for me) and wrinkle less. I can't say there's an odor, but I can live without the dryer smell if the laundry is dry, wrinkle-free, and static-free. Not sure how long they will last - do they need to be replaced after using X to continue getting results? I've only been using it for 3 weeks, I can't say anything.
