I have bought a lot of lights since I started photography/videography. This ranges from incandescent lamps to LED lamps. Despite using a top-of-the-line Sony camera for video, I still struggled to achieve true skin tones and it was extremely frustrating and damaging to the videographer's image with clients. I spoke to some friends of friends and they recommended I upgrade my lighting gear. This light kit is not cheap at all and will cost you a whole salary for most people. I can say after using it on my first corporate video shoot it is worth every penny. It is built like a tank, very strong and durable metal body. 928 LEDs are bright enough for any scene you want to capture. I'm also glad to see the improved barn door. Only batteries are missing from the kit, except that it is a ready-to-use package, complete with spotlights, light stands and even softboxes. At first I thought they forgot the remote and then I found out that these lights can be controlled with a smartphone app, either IOS or Android. You can use white light or RGB mode. There are several built-in lighting effects that you might find useful. I love this light and if you can afford it I recommend it for high quality video recording.
