At first I wasn't sure I would like the look but after putting them on? Not only are they simply stunning, but they also take the strain off your eyes. I used to have a little trouble concentrating on the screen, but the backlight really helps. They are very sensitive to the remote control (I bought the RF version). If you get the IR version, be careful of the remote's line of sight, otherwise it may not respond as well. That's why I got the RF version. Installation was easy - just measure with the strip itself. Bending the corners was a little tricky but not difficult. You just have to be careful. I'm interested in electronics so I think I could cut and then solder, but at the time it seemed a little more complicated than I'd like. They can bend, just don't fold/fold. If you do this you risk breaking one of the copper tracks. You'll notice there's an unlit area under the TV - that was stupid. As I said, be careful when turning. Do not kink or fold. I don't worry too much. IMO the lighted floor could have lit up the booth and ruined the effect so I think I did myself a favour. Acknowledgment - actually it was the second movement. The first set seemed to work fine, but the flickering still persisted after an hour. Most likely a factory wedding (it happens). I contacted them and they shipped me a new set in just a few days, no problem. This next set works pretty well (and I think it's even a little brighter), so maybe it's just a bad component. Sometimes you never know but the customer service was top notch either way. The most interesting thing about them is not only availability, but also the fact that they can be used in places other than behind the TV. Closet lighting, ambient lighting (under the bed or sofa). The hard part is figuring out where. Will definitely keep that in mind for my next purchase!
