My U3011 is now useless unless I want to recreate my own kind of Frankenstein.
Dell U3011 is irreparable. Dell does not provide a service manual. My U3011 is useless now unless I want to restore my own Frankenstein style monitor with no bevels which required me to destroy it to remove it. Then you will have problems with U3011. You're better off avoiding Dell altogether unless you like buying new stuff every 2 years or so. The more I research online, the more I realize Dell is a bad choice.
