Review on 🚿 Camco 43713 Shower Head Kit: On/Off Switch, 60" Flexible Hose, Chrome Finish by Robert Mac

My kids were doing typical kid stuff and somehow the hose kinked/broke where it connected to the shower head. No problem, I'll just order another one because we were very happy with the previous device. The new device has arrived and it is easy to install. Unscrew the old hose with the socket wrench and then screw on the new hose with the same socket wrench. TA Dah! Unfortunately, some things seem to have changed in the last two or three years. First, the nozzle select function seems to be leaking - we prefer to adjust the jet only through the outer holes, but somehow the center holes always seem to work. leak a little. This reduces the total water pressure available in the head, meaning the spray pattern is sluggish and non-existent. I can press my thumb firmly against the center holes to close them and the pressure and pattern of the spray noticeably improves. Second, the on/off button worked great on the previous model. This requires tremendous thumb effort and most of the time it still doesn't completely shut off the water. Instead, the water drips, which often becomes annoying as it spits out a loud drip when it hits the trailer's plastic shower floor. Maybe if I had one of those half a million dollar RV's with a fully tiled shower? The shower head is "okay" for what I paid, wish it was as good as the same model from two years ago.
