Benefits: Excellent grip. Warm. Durable leather. Received many compliments. Cons: Odd size. The normal size cut off the circulation in my already small calves. I ordered a large size so I can wear leggings and pants and not have to amputate my legs. I'm a size 9 shoe and I'm struggling to find boots that fit my small calves. I originally ordered a normal size 9. The boot was too big on the foot and the calves were so tight they cut off circulation. I was surprised! Never had such a problem. Reordered size 8 Wide. The ankle is now slightly larger and roomier. The calf fits until the fabric bulges (looks like a real muscular calf), so there's extra fabric in there now. *twitched*. The boots are beautiful and I FINALLY found a pair of tall black leather winter boots with GRIPS. I live in Marquette Michigan and the seasons are brutal. We live in the wild so I need functionality and GRIPS. I also wanted something to wear with dresses in the winter to weather the weather. That's all. Everyone around us is happy.
