Review on 💧 Enhanced AcuRite 01192M Water Leak Detector: Alarm, Wireless Pager for Effective Water Leakage Detection by James Townsend

This review is for an additional water detector that should work in combination with the previously purchased water alarm system and remote control receiver kit. THIS WILL NOT SYNCHRONIZE with the remote receiver, even though I set it that way. Do not buy a unit, BUY THE KIT ONLY. This rating refers to the KIT (water detector and radio receiver). I had another water alarm that worked fine but wasn't loud enough. One night while we were sleeping on the second floor my kettle broke. We woke up to cold water which prompted us to look into the basement. The alarm went off and the basement flooded. We couldn't hear it on the second level of our home. I was looking for a water detector that also had a remote alarm box. This works very well. I placed the water alarm in the basement and the remote control on the first level, and when the basement alarm touched the water the remote alarm on the first level went off. I even heard it on the second level where the bedrooms are.
