Review on BenQ HT2150ST 1080P Short Throw Projector: Enhanced Color Accuracy, Low Input Lag, Ideal for Gaming and Streaming Netflix & Prime Video - White by Mike Devine

Picture quality 10-10 The picture is excellent, the colors are very good and the blacks are also very good. The picture gets pixelated when you sit close, so text is nowhere as sharp as it is in 4K, you'll see the difference. 1080P isn't bad, but 4K resolution is way better. I'm using a 106 inch screen and I'm sitting at about 8ft and the image only fills the entire screen at 5ft which is amazing! Compared to the Optoma UHD50X, the Ht2150ST's blacks are much better, but the difference between 1080P and 4K is clear when you're sitting next to a huge screen. Input lag is low for this projector and it's great for first-person shooters, but not that close to a 120Hz monitor. So don't expect it to be as good as your monitor as playing on a huge screen in first person shooters is difficult due to the screen size. Build quality 9-10 Build quality is very good! Compared to Optoma projectors, including the HT143X/243X/UHD50X, they all look very similar, but they're nothing special and they look pretty cheap. This Benq model just looks great. Packaging 10-10 Very good quality Benq packaging, foam, projector packed in its own carry bag, definitely better than the competition. Noise 10-10 Noise is barely noticeable on this projector. The Benq Ht2150ST was very unassuming and quiet throughout all operations compared to the Optoma UHD50X which was much louder and that was one of the main reasons I didn't like the Optoma. and an overall better price compared to the $1,500 Optoma UHD50X. However, 4K knocks 1080P out of the water when you're sitting close to the screen, but once you're further than 10 feet the clarity between 4K and 1080P becomes less distinguishable.
