Review on 2023-2024 Wall Calendar - 12" X 17", Twin-Wire Binding, Large Blocks With Julian Dates For Home & Office Planning by Phil Oliveira

Looks nice, but has very thin paper

I ordered this calendar specifically because I was in need of something that fit in a narrow area but was easy to write on. Most standard wall calendars are slick and difficult to write on with many pens as they smear, that’s not the case with this one. You can use just about any writing tool on this since its basically just plain legal sized printer paper. This is good and bad. I like that I can use any pens (I prefer felt tips) but this also means that many pens can bleed through if you’re not careful. Just something to be aware of so you don’t ruin the next month. The design of this calendar is cute, but comes off feeling kind of cheap. The month and year and printed to mimic foiled designs on top of watercolor but the whole thing ends up looking pretty lacking. There is no richness to the coloring and at the current price of around $10, I feel like I overpaid. Finally, I feel like I have to mention that it appears that the company is trying to bribe their reviewers into leaving them good reviews. They sent a business card along with the product offering free stuff if you get in contact with them and I don’t like this as a business practice. They specifically ask on the business card that you don’t show the card in your review with no explanation as to why. Obviously, I feel that this skews the rating of their products and I would take some of the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt.Overall, this is a decent calendar that doesn’t smear your ink and has a cute (if cheap) design. I honestly would recommend this to others because I do enjoy it, but be aware that the paper is thin and perhaps not all of the reviews are honest.

Pros
  • Simple, well-made.
Cons
  • The design may not be professional enough for some users
