Reviews that mention the transparency of this material are accurate. I bought white. According to the label it was 100% silk, but if it was, it was the loosest and coarsest fabric, which disappointed me. It looks more like a cheap polyester. The edges are machine hemmed and quite well done, but they show because the rest of the fabric is very thin. It works but I will not order other colors.
