It covers it

open area is 3/16" x 3/16". The sliding camera cover is easy to install and the size fits all three devices. The sliding part holds well in the closed position. Even if I carry my bag in a bag etc. it stays in this position. No effort is required to open or close it, but it is enough to avoid accidental opening.

Pros

STRONG AND DURABLE ADHESIVE - Made of high quality plastic with strong adhesive. It stays strong when attached. Simply line up with your webcam, attach and press firmly for a few seconds to ensure a secure fit. However, if necessary, the temporary filling can be removed.
