Great value for money and overall a great machine!
This notebook is very well built. I bought this for $800. The display could be a bit brighter. Turning the brightness all the way on will decrease battery life. The i5 heats up under load and the fans turn to maximum under load. There is a slight flickering of the display. But overall very suitable for my use cases like study and entertainment. Pen writing is a lifesaver for online courses. Update: The flickering problem was due to a graphics setting. This can be fixed by disabling "Display Power Saving" under "Power" in the Intel Graphics Control Center.
