Review on 📻 Power Antenna Mast for Ford Taurus (1996-2006) & Mercury Sable (1996-2006) at AntennaMastsRus by Blake Giordano

The antenna on my 2001 Ford Taurus station wagon no longer extends or retracts even though I could hear the engine running. I saw this and decided this was the answer as buying a new antenna unit was not even considered by Ford and I feared the used one would soon fail. A complete "universal" replacement for motor antennas didn't even come close to fitting in my car. I had to take my entire antenna assembly out of the car, which is not very easy but doable as the gooseneck that actually extends and retracts the antenna was broken. After that I had to disassemble the block, remove the old parts of the frame and mast and reinstall them. There really aren't any good antenna instructions on how to do this. I relied on thorough disassembly and YouTube instructions. Everything reassembled, installed and everything works. You have to be a little accommodating but I would recommend this as a great solution if you have my problems.
