Yeti Blue user: I mean, no problem. Durable hard plastic clip. While I can see someone wanting to use a metal clip, I have no doubt that it will outlast the life of the mount itself. As someone who appreciates cable management, I have no problem setting it up. Velcro straps help organize the cables. Tip: Don't do it like I did originally and place the cable tie across the entire arm width, but in between. The connections are rigid, but that inspires confidence that it will last. long time and that it stays in place during use. I'm so glad I didn't buy a Yetikaster (so cool) or Rodes bar. This is more than sufficient for my purposes. Use: I use my microphone in my WFH office to record lectures and as the best microphone for zoom meetings. Remember, take it, it's worth it!) and the Auphonix pro blue Yeti shock absorbing mount. I didn't need an adapter and it went straight to my mount. After all, my desk is 5 inches long and 2 inches thick. It barely slipped but it did, if your table is thicker than this it won't fit for you. However, if you bought a cheap dart first like most of us do, save your clip as it may fit. I have no problem positioning the microphone so that I can sit or stand comfortably. I have it next to my desk. If I got a giant version I would place the mic above my screens. I would recommend! Enjoy!
