Review on CIPA 31000 Night Rearview Mirror by Avery Sharma

Weak. Vibrates more than OEM. The dimmer flipper does not work well.

Nieh. It fits the previous bracket on my Nissan Sentra 06 (once I figured out how to remove the old one). it has less depth, and the dimmer switch lacks the OEM's positive "clunker" feel, and it also seems to zoom in a bit more than the original. The time will show. At this price, it's hard to complain too much. Feels cheap. It s cheap. *Update* I finally tested it (Stay Home Order here) and it vibrates. Not bad vibration at bike mirror level but certainly more than OEM. It also makes adjustments when you need to crank up the torque and make it "jump where it wants" to find that perfect field of view, and it doesn't. catch smoothly. It's a sliding plastic release and grippy feel. The OEM does too, just not as much, and it seems so because it's tighter. Really very cheap feeling. The dimmer switch does not switch very smoothly to the dimmed view. It appears that the mechanics are plastic again, while there were some plastic parts in the original, but the folding insert was metal and felt very positive from A to B. a simple situation. With a mirror this narrow, that means a lot, especially when you have to flip it because you're in a small sedan and someone in a huge truck is flooding your car with light. Basically, this function does not work. as temporarily passable. Not a good product. Should have stopped at the OEM. Actually I'm buying one right now. Yes, OEM costs 5 times more, but that's it. This is not a viable option.
