Inexpensive mirror. - Finishing

This is a beautiful and economical replacement for a mirror. It looks identical to the previous aftermarket mirror I bought, but with a few upgrades: there's a plastic bushing in the ball joint to make the movement smoother; the mounting knob/bracket/base is metal, not plastic. The included metal base is better because the plastic base was kinked/deformed when tightening the mounting screw and the mirror kept falling off. Weak. Vibrates more than OEM. The dimmer flipper does not work well.

Nieh. It fits the previous bracket on my Nissan Sentra 06 (once I figured out how to remove the old one). it has less depth, and the dimmer switch lacks the OEM's positive "clunker" feel, and it also seems to zoom in a bit more than the original. The time will show. At this price, it's hard to complain too much. Feels cheap. It s cheap. *Update* I finally tested it (Stay Home Order here) and it vibrates. I've never been so annoyed by something that costs so little.

I would give zero stars if possible. If you need a rear-view mirror, then perhaps a piece of cardboard covered in aluminum foil is more functional than this maximum-disruptive beast. I bought this to replace a dying mirror in a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The original mirror fails at the edges where moisture (or air) appears to slowly erode and discolor the mirror film. It should be a replacement. On the plus side, this mirror is a lot cheaper than a dealer replacement. This is the only saving factor…
