I normally carry my gun in a leg holster, but in order to complete the tactical pistol course I had to get a belt holster and, of course, a carrying strap. Exactly what was needed: strong, just the right depth, strong enough to hold everything firmly in place. I was able to fit a holster on one side and a spare magazine holder on the other and everything stayed where it was supposed to for the two day course. If I were the first responder or had to hide carry I would definitely use this belt for that purpose.
