I installed this product on my new Apple iPad Mini 5. I watched a short installation video and got a great tip on how to remove small smudges that might be stuck between the protective film and the screen surface (although I've never had this problem. Before attempting the installation, I had a portable air purifier running in my room and this eliminated any airborne dust that might have settled on my screen during the short installation process.It was extremely easy to install and worked flawlessly with only a few small air bubbles which were then easy to squeeze out.After the After installing the protective film, I sprayed some Armorall on the plastic surface to clean and polish it.The matte finish dissipates any glare and reflections when reading indoors, but is darker and harder to read outdoors in the shade and almost impossible in bright sunlight read. If your Fingers that have even a little bit of oil will transfer them to the screen protector, but you won't see fingerprints when the screen is lit, only when it's off. I clean them simply by wiping and buffing the screen with a drop of Armorall or with Flent's Wipe'N Clear disposable lens wipes. Despite these limitations, I still think this screen protector is a very useful product and I am very happy with it. The display material also appears to be very durable and there are three screen protectors included in the product box. If the protective film is damaged, it can be easily removed and replaced immediately. Based on my experience with other screen protectors on previous products (cameras, phones and tablets) I don't think I'll ever need to do this. I can conveniently carry this iPad Mini in my bag or backpack without a protective case, which reduces the weight and bulk of the tablet. I also installed Popsocket on the back of my iPad Mini. This and the screen protector make my iPad Mini a very useful e-reader that can be used for hours.
