I use these cables for external hard drives when the cables that came with the drive are too short to reach my computer. The cables not only look beautiful, but also feel comfortable as if they were properly constructed. , and my attached USB drives are running at full speed. Performance is zero when using standard cables versus these longer cables. Depending on the computer's USB port controller (USB version and generation number), my data transfer rates range from 125 MB/s to 270 MB/s and are all designed for mechanical hard drives. I haven't used these USB cables for SSD drives, but I suspect they could hit over 300MB/s or possibly 400MB/s depending on the hardware you're using. to my USB ports, not to cables. The same cable that achieved 125 MB/s achieved 265 MB/s when used on another computer with a faster USB controller. So these cables will not be a bottleneck. You look good. They feel well made. They work fine. You have the right price.
