We are talking about 2600 without factoring in X, and I paid 8200 for it. Initially, I was interested in the 2700 and the 3600, with and without the X, but they are between 1.5 and 1.7 times more expensive, and they only provide a performance increase of a maximum of 30-40% in multithreading. Having weighed my options, I concluded that there is not much point in overpaying, as in my average tasks, I won't feel this difference, and I can load my 1060 video card with my head using this percentage. Before making a purchase, give some thought to the level of performance you require and the reason behind it. You should avoid overpaying for the additional capabilities, as in my experience, the only time I noticed a difference in performance compared to the previous 2200g was when I was processing and rendering video. For all other tasks, everything remained + - at the same level, but the price of the upgrade, which was only 3200, was well worth it. Now, the price of this CPU is the golden mean for building a computer that is acceptable for the majority of games even with non-top video cards and for editing videos in 4K. (the minimum comfortable processor for this). At the same time, cooling at the Gammax 300-400 level is sufficient; however, I do not recommend using a boxed cooler because it is quite ineffective and will make a lot of noise. The only negative experience I've had with memory, although I'm not sure how to speed it up. Before to that, it was 2200g; the memory functioned at a frequency of 3466 without any dances; however, here I took just 3200 automatically; still, in skilled hands and with the appropriate memory and motherboard, I believe there will be no issues. This processor is what I would call the "golden mean" for the typical user, and it is currently the best option available for this price range. If you are solely interested in games, then it is natural that you would want to look towards the blue ones; but, on average, Intel is not a competitor to it in this price segment.
