Just received but happy with the product so far. They put out a lot of light when all 6 are plugged in and are great for my office lighting needs. The strips can be connected together without the use of the supplied extensions and successfully run parallel to each other with a strip spacing of approximately 2.5 miles 3 inches. You can squeeze them tighter, but that will stress the wiring. A few notes: 1. They can only be mounted at a 45 degree angle. As seen in the photos, the light strips are diamond shaped with 3M strips on two sides and screw holes on one side. Not a big deal, but worth considering if you were planning on placing the light so the light is pointed straight down. 2. DO NOT buy extension cords and Y-splitters that appear as "frequently purchased together". You end up with two more products that are not compatible with this LED lighting kit. The plug connections of the light set are "wedged" in such a way that they are patented. While technically correct in terms of plug sizes, the additional cables offered by Amazon will not work with LED strips. If you don't want to cut and splice, they won't join and work. I tried. This is just information in case you decide to buy the trio together. I've included a photo showing the LED connectors (two on the left) and the extension cords described above (two on the right) to highlight their incompatibility.
