Yes. It was exactly what I was looking for in an ironing board case - and something I couldn't buy locally. I used this cover over the cotton ironing board cover that came with my new door mounted ironing board as I don't like cotton ironing board covers. IF YOU READ and FOLLOW the instructions that came with your ironing board cover (which is very important and takes some time), there is absolutely no reason not to buy a well-fitting, non-slip ironing board cover that actually makes ironing easier. This fabric cover has an adhesive backing so take your time to apply it correctly. The heat-reflecting properties of the cover are excellent and make ironing easier (not exactly a pleasure, but definitely easier :).
