Complete transition to this brand. A few months ago one of my cats vomited quite frequently, almost every other day, sometimes twice a day. The vet gave me a prescription that reduced it to once a week, which was better. But then when the food was running out my friend recommended this brand, I bought it and was blown away. He almost stopped throwing up! I think he may have thrown up twice since I switched and that was 3 months ago. It should be noted that this brand is slightly higher in calories than some due to the ingredients. It feels like I barely give them anything to eat, especially because they love it, they eat pretty quickly and then meow for more all day! - but that's not a big difference. My cats have gained anywhere from 0.5 to almost 1 pound between visits and my vet mentioned that the calories are higher which could be the reason. But I told her if I have to choose between a slightly heavier (they're not obese or fat, they're 11lbs so on a higher level but no problem) a cat or a cat that throws up every other day, I choose the heavier one. !
