Minimal damage to hair but color/quality of material will vary.

It's ok. Not very soft, but does minimal damage to hair, and the quality of the material varies even within the same order. I bought these light blue pillowcases for $5.99. It's shiny and light. I received 1 pair (2 pillowcases) and they should be the same color but as you can see in the picture they are slightly different. It doesn't really show in the picture, but the back pillowcase is a lovely soft blue, while the front pillowcase is a shade of green. like light turquoise? Maybe he is old and faded? The blue color also feels a bit softer, but the seams in the light teal color are better stitched and more even. The light blue stitch looks too tight and may tear or unravel faster than the green one. Both feel smooth. The label says 100% polyester, but apparently "satin" is a woven fabric and not an actual fabric material, so you can make satin out of silk, polyester, or rayon. These pillowcases aren't entirely wrinkle free, but they aren't as bad as they could be and they still look good. They're not as soft as I was hoping, but don't ruin my hair as much as cotton pillowcases. I have short, layered and slightly wavy hair. When I wake up I look like Anna from Frozen using a cotton pillowcase, but when I slept on it I woke up with the ends only slightly curled. (The rest is most likely my natural wave haha). I washed my pillowcase in a mesh bag before use and haven't noticed any damage yet. Compared to other prices I've seen, $5.99 for a polyester satin queen pillowcase isn't that bad, but I'm disappointed with the disparity in quality of the material.
