Don't buy this with the intention of protecting the door.

This product works as intended but should never be used as a security device. The relay wire that opens the door when they touch is routed through the door to the keypad case, meaning someone with a screwdriver could bypass the keypad case and open the door in under a minute. In a properly secured system, the keyboard sends a signal. Data to another controller within the security perimeter, which compares it to the stored data and then opens the door with a match.
