Great item for solving the fragility problem of the new #DS XL

The top is great although I'm not a fan of the bottom half. However, the top half is compatible with most accessories that attach to the bottom half of the 3ds XL. I use the bottom half charging handle and the top of this case doesn't bother it much. This will significantly increase the volume of your system and add some weight, especially in the top half. Without a set of controller grips on the bottom half, I find the top guard alone makes the 3ds XL unwieldy. This protector could be a bit lighter and still do the job IMO.
