I've heard a lot of people addicted to the "ball of yarn" and really didn't believe it would work. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and grabbed this set as the cost was lower than local retailers. This set contains 3 balls of light gray yarn, neatly packaged in a drawstring pouch. I have to say that the presentation and packaging is quite nice (and very gift-worthy!). After setting it up, I tried my first load of laundry in the wool ball dryer. I was shocked - there is no static, the clothes are wrinkle free and the balls are ready for the next cycle. Not sure what I thought would happen if they retained moisture and caused a wet smell? If they got tangled up in all the clothes? But I was so happy to see that they worked flawlessly. I know the packaging says you can add essential oils to dryer balls to give them a "flavor". but my clothes still smelled of detergent and fabric softener. With the cost of almost everything rising all the time, it's good to know that I won't be buying drier sheets any time soon. I'm so glad I finally made this jump. I'm not sure how it works, but it suits me, ☺️. An economical, well-designed, drier alternative to leaves at a price anyone can try for themselves = said 5⭐️ product!
