We have used this on a couple of sofas we just bought to replace the ones our two children have gotten dirty, worn out and destroyed in six years. So far, this material has withstood stains, dirt, syrup, paint splatters and a toddler's "accident" while potty training. But follow the drying time and application instructions carefully - it takes MUCH longer to cover a surface than you think and skimping on it won't give you full coverage.
