I purchased a cord lock kit to use on the duffel bag that came with my large car cover. The car cover storage bag has nylon drawstrings to close the opening. The cord locks I purchased were good in terms of quantity and the two types of cord locks included in the kit. However, they did not come with an internal spring. be strong enough to keep the lanyard hole closed despite the pressure of the car cover inside the duffel bag. The trunk cover fits snugly and can only hold the car cover if either carefully folded like factory or pressed into the tonneau cover. The cable lock I bought is pictured on the right. of the two cord stoppers in the photo. I found the cord lock on the left from another supplier who had a spring with sufficient force for my application. If you look closely you will notice that the cable lock on the left in the photo is significantly thicker and stronger than the one in the photo. I bought the right one here at Revain. The cable lock purchased here is functional and suitable for cables that do not exert much pressure.
