Perfect replacement
The rubber on my left joystick has snapped. It was the perfect replacement. It was a little difficult to pry off the handles at first (the first step in the repair). I think I was worried about using too much force and breaking any plastic tabs on the connector. I ended up just going with them - they popped out right away and all the tabs are intact. From there 5 screws and the cover is removed. Just swap old/new joysticks and everything is back together in less than a minute. They work/seem original to me.
