Fits a little snug but overall install is easy. The tools that came with it were handy, but I would rather not use the tools as I already had a set. I'm glad to have the new set on my favorite controller.

One YouTube search and I'm gone. I was afraid of it as I am very impatient when it comes to meticulous tasks. But surprisingly it was very easy. Also, his discovery helped me figure out why my trigger kept sticking. Now my Day One Edition controller doesn't feel like a chew toy anymore.

The rubber on my left joystick has snapped. It was the perfect replacement. It was a little difficult to pry off the handles at first (the first step in the repair). I think I was worried about using too much force and breaking any plastic tabs on the connector. I ended up just going with them - they popped out right away and all the tabs are intact. Just installed and so far so good. The tools did the job and the sticks reproduced the OEM feel better than I expected. I've seen many reviews of other replacement racquets where buyers were disappointed that the sides were rubberized but the center was plastic. They are rubberized on the sides and in the middle. They feel great and seem to be quite durable. If they don't last as long as I'm expecting I'll update my rating, but for now it's 5 stars!

Really great quality at a great price. After the thumb pad on my favorite controller came off, it saved me from wasting $50 replacing the controller with a used one that had GameStop Cheeto fingerprints all over it. If you compare them to the ones that came with the controller, you won't see any difference at all. If anything, the thumb pad feels more durable, so it should last longer.
