We have a sofa that is about 10 years old and a 70# black labrador mix who likes to play around and be lazy. Her favorite pastime is rummaging through all the pillows on the couch in the "L" fold to get comfy, and in the process she pretty much ruined the pillowcase that fits in that corner. not ready to replace the whole couch as it still works but that corner cushion is pretty toasted because of the dog. We ordered 2 sets of these covers to cover as many sofa cushions as possible. . There is only one sofa on the sofa that is not covered, and it is oddly long in shape due to the way the sectional sofa is made. These covers match all the pillows on the couch except for one odd pillow, and so far it's been held by a spoiled lazy dog who loves to rummage through the pillows. The material is soft, very stretchy and has so far withstood the dog claws. We had a sofa cover that went over the sofa and had small styrofoam "noodles" (like pool noodles, only very small) stuffed into it, but it was difficult to store and keep neat. In general, these covers are impressive.
